Val d'Isère, France from $1079! March 1, 2005
If all of this isn't enough, consider the fact that Val d'Isère is part of a larger ski area, the Espace Killy. The area, named of course after the most famous French skier, Jean Claude Killy, is the combined ski terrain of Val d'Isère and nearby Tignes.
